Upgrading to 0.3.0

Upgrading from 0.2.x. Release date: November 3, 2026

Breaking changes

None in the API of Anvil. Check these changes of behaviour:

• Run the migrations first: deleting a record of an auditable model for good and anvil:tick use the new table anvil_ownerships, and fail without it.
• Database errors: when saving failed in the database, API clients and the browser now get a neutral message under the key record instead of the error of the database. Check your own clients if they read this text. The error is in the log.
• Links to lists: filter_<name> in the URL of a list now sets this filter.

Configuration

Nothing needs to change. New and optional:

• $domainEventListeners for domain events.
• $ownerGroupProviders for groups of deputies, see Ownership.

Ownership is switched on per resource with $ownership. Records that exist by then have no owner and can only be changed with <slug>.override. Give them an owner with anvil:ownership:assign. Deputies are told and IT is asked by anvil:tick, which must be scheduled.
